SAMPLE
LETTER
Dear
(Name),
[Make
first paragraph a personal greeting & introduction]
God
has opened the door for me to go on a short-term mission trip
to Ukraine with Ukraine Children's Project, (dates of trip).
We will be working in orphanages with youth and volunteers
from existing churches from Vinnitsa.
I will be teamed up with an interpreter to work doing (fill
in your plans for the trip).
Your
help is needed! This is a team project, and you are needed
on the team. First, we need your prayers for the spiritual
battles ahead. Second, your help is needed to help cover part
of the cost for this trip.
The
total cost is $___. Please consider investing $50 or $100
in the project. Much of this amount is due by___.
If
you would like to join us in this, please make your check
payable to “Ukraine Children’s Project”,
and send it in the enclosed envelope with my name printed
on the outside. UCP will then send you a tax receipt.
If
I do not hear from you by ___, I will attempt to contact you
to see what you have decided. I can answer any questions you
may have at that time. I hope you will be a part of my personal
prayer support team. I plan to keep our prayer team regularly
updated with prayer requests.
You
are very important to me. Thank you for praying about being
a part of our team.
P.S.
Your contribution will allow me to be the hands and heart
of God to hurting children in Ukraine.
